Please find below a message from Adel War Memorial Association in respect of their Fete on 26th July:
Adel Fete & Open Day,
Sunday 26th June, 12.00pm - 5.00pm
IT IS BACK .............after an absence of two years due to Covid. This is a special event in the splendid setting of the Adel War Memorial Association's grounds and Halls in Church Lane, LS16 8DE next to Adel Parish Church.
There will be "Show and have a go" or coaching sessions, for all the family, in such sports as Archery, Bowls, Cricket, Football, Lacrosse, Snooker, Squash and Tennis.
The Fete theme is “Pirates”. Family and children can enjoy the craft stalls, a children's sports day, a Treasure Hunt and a Bouncy castle and slide. Ronnie the Rhino will be in attendance to amuse us with his antics. There will be Ice creams and a BBQ with burgers and sausages. Don’t forget to visit the comfortable lounge and fully licensed bar.
